Meet Our Team

Building is literally in the Rockside Builders DNA. Richard is a 7th generation Canadian builder, his father an Aerospace Engineer (NASA & Canadian Space Agency) and Grandfather, Great Grandfather etc, etc. were carpenters and builders, building houses, covered bridges, carriages, and more.

Neil de Bruyn is the Senior Staff carpenter. He is from South Africa and has 30 years experience, and is also a multi generational builder and carpenter. Neil is skilled with CNC, CAD and VCarve software, as well as special projects and custom furniture building.

Jared Klaassen is the "younger" staff member, with a Journeyman Certificate and 12 years industry experience. He is an expert in the spray booth with great attention to detail and an eye for colours and custom stain mixing.
