Meet Our Team
Building is literally in the Rockside Builders DNA. Richard is a 7th generation Canadian builder, his father an Aerospace Engineer (NASA & Canadian Space Agency) and Grandfather, Great Grandfather etc, etc. were carpenters and builders, building houses, covered bridges, carriages, and more.
Neil de Bruyn is the Senior Staff carpenter. He is from South Africa and has 30 years experience, and is also a multi generational builder and carpenter. Neil is skilled with CNC, CAD and VCarve software, as well as special projects and custom furniture building.
Jared Klaassen has been with us several years, with a Journeyman Certificate and 15 years industry experience. He is an expert in the spray booth with great attention to detail and an eye for colours and custom stain mixing. Jared works hard to keep up with current spray technology and materials. His work is a big part of what makes things special !
Michael Reddick hails from the Comox Valley area of Vancouver Island. He worked several years as a cabinet installer for a high end cabinet shop there. Michael brings a high standard of excellence to his work with Rockside and always looking for ways to improve things. He is also a Journeyman Electrician.
Carson James is nearing completion of his Journeyman Certification and we are proud to have him as a part of the Rockside Team. Carson is new to cabinetmaking but has extensive carpentry and finish carpentry experience.
